ISES Portland “Pimp My Warehouse” event

I attended the ISES Portland ‘Pimp My Warehouse’ event last Thursday.  The theme?  Portlandia; Put a Bird on it.  Loved it.  From the moment I walked in, this space screamed Portland.  The Portland ISES Chapter did an a-mah-zing job on decking out this warehouse space!  From food carts (even Voodoo Donuts!), to hanging bicycles to mossy green & galvanized steel…everything was in place.  Even had a Rip City sign hanging for our beloved Portland Trailblazers, air hockey and Ms. Pacman games, silent auction, tattoo artist and lounging area.  Food was catered by Premiere Catering…and was delish!  My fave had to be the gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. A high school marching band kicked the festivities off, followed by guest speaker Neil Adams from Blueprint Studios, who did a fantastic presentation on how important theme is for your special event.   And all this was captured wonderfully by Andie Petkus Photography…I’ve included some photos below to put this all in place for you.

What do you do with a pimped out warehouse after your evening event is over?  Offer it up for a charity event…for sure!  This year the Children’s Book Bank took over the pimped out space for an event the very next evening.  Love this idea!  Love that ISES Portland offers this up to the community.  Love Love Love.
